Bangladesh Hajj – Last Date To Deposit Money 30th May, 2013
This year from Bangladesh 10,000 Hajj pilgrims will go for Haj Pilgrimage under government management while 117,198 will go through private sector management.There are two hajj packages under the government management.Those who are going under package-1 i.e Bigger package, have to pay TK 3,47,027 while for the pacakge-2 i,e smaller package , pilgrims will have to pay TK 2,78,742. Bangladesh Hajj 2013 – Flight Schedule
This year from Bangladesh about 130,000 pilgrims will perform Haj Pilgrimage. Hajj flights are scheduled to take the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from 7th September 2013.
The national flag carrier of Bangladesh , Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited will ferry 50 percent of the pilgrims and rest of them will go by the Saudi Airlines.

MP Haj Pilgrims Get Additional Quota of 111 Seats
Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs has provided an additional quota of 111 seats to Madhya Pradesh Haj Committee. Those who are in the series of 1 to 111 of waiting list , they are declared provisional selected. Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee (MPSHC) stated that the Haj Committee of India (HCOI) has informed all the selected applicants through SMS on the numbers provided by them while filling the Haj application form.

Jammu Kashmir Haj – 1699 More Seats Allotted For Haj 2013
There is good news for those Haj applicants from Jammu and Kashmir ( J & K) who are in waiting list. Central Haj Committee has allotted 1699 more seats to Jammu & Kashmir. So this year the total Haj seats allotted to J&K is 8819.

Haj 2013 Total Expenditure
Haj Committee of India has announced the last date to deposit the first installment of Rs. 76000/- for Haj Pilgrimage 2013 . Last year the first installment amount was Rs. 51,000/-.
This year the increase is due to Saudi Government, which asked the pilgrims accommodation fee for both the categories in full. Already the application form fee increased by 50% , last year it was Rs. 100 and this year pilgrims had to pay Rs. 300/-.

Haj Provisional Selected Applicants Submit Forms By 20th May
Haj Committee of India has directed all the provisionally selected applicants to submit their main forms along with other details by 20th May,2013. All the Haj State Committee under HCOI has declared the list of provisionally selected applicants after qurrah. They all are informed informed through SMSes and letters.Lists are also available on department's website .

Haj Ministry Saudi Arabia Warned Hotels Against Seizing Passport
Haj Ministry in Saudi Arabia has warned Hotels and other accommodation facilities against seizing passports of Haj pilgrims under any circumstances. Ministry has cautioned that strict action will be taken if any such case is reported or found .

Insufficient Haj Quota for India
The draw of lots for the lucky ones who would visit Mecca for the year 2013 is released in almost every major state. Maharashtra Haj – 10,763 Pilgrims Selected After Qurrah
Maharashtra Haj Committee has declared the Haj Qurrah result for year 2013. Qurrah / draw of lots took place in Haj House near Victoria Railway Terminus. Already 5512 applicants were selected from 70+ category and those who had applied for four or more times but not selected. For the remaining seats qurrah took place. Uttarakhand Qurrah Result 2013 – Haj
Uttarakhand State Haj Committee has declared the names of selected Haj pilgrims for year 2013 after the Qurrah. There were 3,731 applications for Haj Pilgrimage, however after the qurrah result was declared,only 1061 were lucky to be selected for Haj.
