Grand Mufti of the Syrian Republic, Dr. Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun Meets Indian Leaders
Grand Mufti of the Syrian Republic, Dr. Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun meets Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on 26th September, 2017 in New Delhi . In his speech H.E Dr Ahmad Badr Eddine Hassoun praised India for playing major role in global efforts against terrorism. He further stated that India’s strength of secularism, unity, harmony, tolerance is an example for entire world.
At this occasion H.E Dr Ahmad Badr Eddine Hassoun for presented the minister digital “Holy Quran” prepared in 5 languages. Mr Naqvi said that , Evil forces who are misusing Islam as their “safety cover” are the enemy of both Islam and entire humanity.
Dr. Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun also met home minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday . He assured its support to Syria in the fight against terrorism in the war-ravaged country, a major theatre of dreaded terror group ISIS. Singh assured the grand mufti of India’s support in eliminating terrorism in all fronts and recollected the long- standing friendship between India and Syria, an official statement said. Singh was confident that bilateral relations will improve further by such visits and wished that peace and stability is restored in Syria soon.
