Bangladesh Reduces Haj Airfare For 2019
Biman Bangladesh Airlines which carries half of the Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh has announced to reduce the fare of Hajj flights by Tk 10,191. Now , Hajj Pilgrims from Bangladesh will have to pay Tk 1,28,000 for Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. The Hajj flight ticket price has dropped from Tk1,38,191 to Tk1,28,000 per passenger.
The State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Mahbub Ali made the announcement after an inter-ministerial meeting regarding Hajj at the Civil Aviation Secretariat.
The inter-ministerial meeting was also attended by State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Md Abdullah, Aviation and Tourism Secretary Mahibul Haque, Religious Affairs Secretary Anisur Rahman along with leaders and senior officials of different ministries.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is very sincere about the welfare and smooth arrangements for the Hajj pilgrims. This reduction in the airfare shows the obvious concern of her. Sheikh Md Abdullah stated that his ministry would provide all sorts of assistance for proper Hajj management. Last year , about 1,26,000 pilgrims performed Hajj .
